Writers often ask, "How can I sell my work to libraries?" As writers, that is one of our primary goals, but what about the libraries' goals? How can you make it a win-win? Carol Roddy, 30 year veteran of the Ohio Library System, will give an overview of how libraries work, how they make buying decisions, and what kind of challenges they face. Libraries and authors are the most obvious of partners with a shared interest in getting books in the hands of readers, no matter what format those books are in. We need to work to polish that relationship.
