Janet Lynnford published 7 historical romances with Penguin Putnam's New American Library between 1995 and 2002 during the Topaz heyday. She took time out to care for her ill mother, husband, and son, as well as herself, while continuing to work full-time. Now everyone's doing better, or are at least stabilized, and she's working on a new historical . . . while continuing to work full-time.
