Toni Leland
Toni Leland's professional experience with horses and writing consists of eighteen years in the equine publishing industry: as a graphic designer and publicist for many horse farms; as the owner and publisher of two equine bimonthly trade magazines; and, since 1994, as the owner/editor of two small publishing companies. She has written non-fiction since 1989, and continues to produce horse-related articles and videos for her own product lines. In a related business, Ms. Leland copy-edits manuscripts, and designs book covers and layouts for self-published authors. During the winter months, she gives presentations on several aspects of preparing to publish, particularly for genealogy and historical societies. Toni began writing fiction in 1996, and has completed three novels: Winning Ways (romantic suspense), Hearts Over Fences (contemporary romance), and Gambling With the Enemy (mainstream thriller), as well as two children's books: Christa Meets a Mini and Christa Joins a Horse Club. Toni is a member of Central Ohio Fiction Writers, Romance Writers of America, From the Heart Romance Writers, and The Authors Club.
